The Flameproof Square Plate axial fan has been specifically designed to meet the needs of ventilation applications in hazardous or explosive environments. It is ideal for wall mounting but can be mounted at any angle and on the ceiling if required.

Four Models Available
These units are suitable for operating temperatures up to 70°C (50°C with speed control) with an IP66 rated motor.

Durability
Robust galvanised steel square plate with white powder coated finish. They are fitted with high strength guards to reduce the risk of objects entering the fan.

Blades and Motors
Blades and motors are carefully matched to maximize performance and maintain a flameproof unit. The Axial impeller has glass reinforced anti-static blades, and the motors comply with Ex d, Group II, Zone 1 and T6 protection.

Note
A Hazardous Motor Confirmation form, S12, will need to be signed prior to an order as proof of zone and gas group classification. Call Elta Fans Applied Technology for this form upon ordering.
